General Questions
Classrooms are welcome to visit the library during open hours! If you’re planning a class visit, we encourage you to let our staff know in advance to avoid conflicts with scheduled tour groups.
Register your students for a library card online or pick up an application for each member of your classroom from any GRPL location. Students, caregivers, or educators can return completed applications to any GRPL location. Learn more here.

You may request a class or group visit to the Youth Services Department at the Main Library or one of our branches for up to 30 participants. Please submit your request at least four weeks in advance. We offer many opportunities, including tours, storytimes, introductions to using the library, research skills, and database training. One of our librarians will respond to your request to discuss the details of the visit.
We do! There is a quiet study room available at many GRPL locations for distraction-free studying or work. Drop by any location to reserve a space for up to one hour.
You can also enjoy a Solo Space on the Lower Level of the Main Library and the Seymour Branch. A Solo Space is the perfect spot to enjoy quiet work or study time, meet remotely with colleagues, or take a phone call. Solo Spaces can be reserved for up to 1 hour at a time and are first come, first served.
