About the Mobile Library
Our Mobile Library brings important library resources into the community. It allows us to reach neighborhoods, communities, and individuals across Grand Rapids.
Our Mobile Library has provided targeted neighborhood access to library resources — deepening our connection with local organizations and community partners, and bridging early literacy gaps.
Outreach
Our Mobile Library is available to visit festivals, community events, and neighborhood programs. During our visit, we can provide:
- library card registration
- library resources and information
- giveaways
- lawn games
- outdoor furniture

Little Book Nooks
Our Little Book Nooks offer free books and information to visitors of local organizations. They feature colorful bookshelves, library handouts, and free books selected by our staff. We’ve partnered with the Hispanic Center of West Michigan to pilot Little Book Nooks.
