General Questions
You can request a visit from our library at your community event by filling out an outreach request.
Please submit your request 4 weeks in advance of your event. You will receive a response within 3-5 business days.We ask that requests to attend community events are submitted at least 4 weeks before the date of the event. We are unable to attend every event.
To set up a tour, call 616.988.5400 or fill out the tour request form. In order to provide your group with the best experience, tour groups are limited to 30 people or less.You may request a class or group visit to the Youth Services Department at the Main Library or one of our branches for up to 30 participants. Please submit your request at least four weeks in advance. We offer many opportunities, including tours, storytimes, introductions to using the library, research skills, and database training. One of our librarians will respond to your request to discuss the details of the visit.
You can request that Grand Rapids Public Library staff attend your community event by filling out an event request form.
