Baker & Taylor (B&T), one of GRPL’s primary vendors for purchasing books, will soon be closing. As a result, we are transitioning all of our book ordering and processing to Ingram, another trusted vendor we’ve worked with for many years.
While we expect minimal disruption for patrons, this transition may cause some delays, specifically:
- You may experience delays of up to 2 weeks for new books during our transition period.

Some popular titles may not be available on their official release dates as we work to reorder materials from Ingram, including:
- These Summer Storms
- Surrogate Mother
- The Academy
- Circle of Days
- The Impossible Fortune
- The Secret of Secrets
- Heart the Lover
- Gone before Goodbye
- Mate
- The Widow
- We are prioritizing re-ordering high-demand titles and items with holds.
Library staff are actively working to reorder and process materials so that we can get them on shelves as soon as possible. We anticipate completing the transition to Ingram by mid-November. We thank you for your patience as we work through this change.
