Beyond Her Grave Bicycle Tour: The Legacies of Women Buried in Fulton Street and Oakhill Cemeteries

She Rides Her Own Way and the Greater Grand Rapids Women’s History Council will host a one-of-a-kind bicycle cemetery tour highlighting notable women of the past. Leaving from the Main Library, the tour will stop at Fulton Street Cemetery, the city’s oldest public burial ground. It will then proceed to Oakhill Cemetery, filled with architectural treasures. Learn about the historic women who shaped the Grand Rapids community as you visit their final resting place. Rain date – Tuesday, August 21, 2018, 6:00 pm.

Tuesday, August 14 (same times for rain date)
Bike riders meet in the parking lot of the Main Library at 6:00 pm. We will then ride as a a group to Fulton Street Cemetery

If you are unable to bike but would still like to attend the tours please join us at the following times and locations. Look for GRPL signage that will direct you to the correct entrance at each cemetery.
6:30 pm at Oakhill Cemetery
7:30 pm at Fulton Street Cemetery

Saturday, August 18
