For Literacy:

Literacy Center of West Michigan - Committed to the literacy and the community, this organization provides Adult tutoring, Customized Workplace English, and a Family Literacy Program.

For GED Preparation:

Grand Rapids Adult Education - VandenBerg Adult Education Center (GRPS)

    Preparation: for students 20+; no charge

    Testing: $10 per test for those enrolled in preparation; $35 per test for those not enrolled in preparation program

Learning Corner @ Wealthy (GRCC)

    Preparation: for those 18+; must attend orientation (typically offered once a month); fees vary and are discussed at orientation;

    TESTING IS NOT PROVIDED

Godwin Heights Public School – Learning Center

    Preparation: under age 20 it is free; for those 20+ there is a fee (varies); enrollment is offered twice a year in spring and fall (occasional open enrollment throughout the year)

    Testing: open to anyone who is a Michigan resident; must fill out preliminary paperwork; $35 per test

Wyoming Community Education

    Preparation: open to all adults; $20 registration fee

    Testing: must be 18+; need Michigan ID, driver's license or Social Security card; $200 for 5 test series or $40 for individual test
