Día de los Muertos Altars

Are you interested in building an altar to honor a deceased loved one?

The wonderful thing about building an altar is that there is no wrong way to do it! Everyone is unique and different and so are the altars. Here are a few common offerings you can find on most altars:

  • Water
  • Candles
  • Incense
  • Marigolds
  • Petate (reed carpet)
  • Bread
  • Cut paper banners
  • Belongings of the deceased
  • Pictures of the deceased

If you’re interested, please download an application today. Altars can be built on 10/30/13 and will be on display from 10/31/13-11/03/13.

Deadline for reserving space is Tuesday, October 1 at 6:00pm.
