You’re invited to our epic Flash Mob Dance Party. What skills lurk beneath your surface? Come find out! You can also to use this program to earn community service time.

Ocean Underworld

What lurks in the great ocean depths? What mysteries have humans discovered as they have explored beneath the ocean’s surface? What infamous legends and myths have arisen from beneath the depths of the sea? Discover the creatures of the sea from mermaids to Percy Jackson’s Poseidon and even the lost city of Atlantis! The mythological creatures that lurk underwater will be uncovered as you enter their world.  Cool off from the hot summer sun as we have fun discovering the lost city of Atlantis and create some of your own treasures to bring home.

Henna Runes

Come recreate the protection runes used by characters in The Mortal Instruments that help them fight creatures of the underworld.

Teen Cemetery Tour

Join the local history staff at the Grand Rapids Public Library on a tour of the Fulton Street Cemetery! Discover the many secrets that lurk in the city’s oldest resting place for the dead. Learn how the cemetery came into being. Find out why we might never know who is buried in Fulton Street Cemetery. Uncover some of the most famous of GR’s citizens and their stories! And see how all of this adds up to one of Grand Rapids’ most famous landmarks!
