Summer Reading Fun

We are in the middle of Summer Reading excitement here at Grand Rapids Public Library! If you haven’t yet signed your children up, stop by your nearest branch to do so. If they are finished already, we are ready to give them their prizes. Be sure to turn in the reading records by August 4. Also, don’t forget all the fun and creative ideas for using the eyes printed in the reading record. You can even send in pictures of your child in his or her mask to summerreading@grpl.org. so we can post them online.

It’s also not too late to have some Summer Reading fun at your library. During the week of July 24 we have a drop-in art activity during each branch’s regular Summer Reading program day. On August 4, come down to Veteran’s Park for our Summer Reading Celebration. For more details on the Summer Reading program, check out our website. Teens, there are still a few events for you as well.
