Spring Break Fun: Fur Traders

Do you ever wonder what it would have been like to be a fur trader in the 1700s?

The Oudoor Discovery Center presents “The Saga of Waterways and the Quest for Fur,” a lively theatrical first person program delving into the culture of the early French fur trade.  Presented by Francois de Naturaliste, a 1700s French voyageur, get fascinating insight into the culture of the voyageur, from daily life to the hardships faced in the vast wilderness.  Talk to Francois.  Read from our
