Soul-sational Memories

Almost two weeks have passed since Taste of Soul Sunday 2011 and I think I am finally beginning to recover! This year’s event was amazing! Despite the heavy snowfall we still topped out at over 1,800 visitors in one day. As the chair of the planning committee, I was pleased to watch the event unfold and take on a life of its own.

Thank you, Grand Rapids, for embracing Taste of Soul Sunday and making it your own. A party is no fun without guests! We are honored that so many of you found it worth your time to be our guests. Thank you to all our talented performers, brilliant speakers, and skillful chefs. Thank you to the planning committee who has been hard at work since the summer of 2010 to pull off this impressive feat. Thank you to the crew of volunteers who report faithfully year after year to serve with enthusiasm. Thank you all!

Enjoy a few of our photos below. Enjoy a few more in this great article found in the The Collegiate.
