Can you read in a car, on a bus, or near the train? Can you read in the snow, while it hails, or in the rain? Do you ‘shhh’ when it’s noisy or ‘shush’ when it’s loud? Do you read quietly to yourself or do you shout it out loud? Sometimes it’s fun to read alone and that’s fair, but sometimes there are stories you just have to share!
To learn more, join the mayor in reading Read to Tiger, by S.J. Fore, a story about a little boy who just wants to read his book. The mayor will be visiting St. Thomas the Apostle School to share the story with some very lucky students!
Visit the Mayor’s Book Club webpage for more information about the club, to print out your own booklet, and to find out how to have the mayor come read at your school!
