Let’s Play at Madison

2013LetsPlay

BlogPost We had our first Let’s Play Workshop at the Madison Square Branch on Thursday. Let’s Play is a five week workshop series for 0-5 year-olds and their parents. One of the goals of the workshop is to encourage social and verbal interactions among both parent and children. This was only the first day and parent and children were already fully engaging each other. Within minutes you could hear moms asking other moms about the ages of their children and sharing stories.

Some of the children also immediately gravitated to each other. They were laughing, playing and sharing with each other. The biggest hits of the day by far was the rocking boat, dress up clothes and the legos. We had lots of fun.
