Kids 9 to 10 years: Talking
Children continue to learn about language by listening to parents talk and joining in the conversation. Having conversations with your child are opportunities to introduce them to new words. Their vocabulary increases when hearing them within different contexts. However, there is no need to have a lesson plan to talk with your child, just do it for fun!
Talk to your child.
- Regularly converse with your child about school, their friends, any difficulties in their relationships, shared interests, and goals. This will help your child become more comfortable expressing themselves.
