Today we vote. Tomorrow we may or may not have a new president. I went at around 11:30 this morning and was luckily only in line for about 20 minutes. Despite my having a fortunately quick jaunt to the polls it’s not the precedent. The line was weaving out the doors when I left! While we all hate standing in lines you can make it a little more tolerable. How? Well swing by the library to pick up a voter guide to browse or if you already know who you’re voting for grab a book to read. While everyone else was just standing in the queue with varying expressions of impatience and/or boredom I was happily reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.
Check out some on our book lists to choose a nice title to read in line and also take a peek at our Voter & Election information page.
GO VOTE!
