Happy Birthday Ronald Reagan

If he were alive, Ronald Reagan, who was admired by many, would be celebrating his 100th Birthday today. Our 40th president was born on February 6, 1911. In honor of his birthday the Grand Rapids Public Library and Grand Valley State University’s Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies will be hosting Reagan’s Heroes. The event here at the Main Library will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.

Reagan’s Heroes: Admiration meets Imitation

Imitation is the highest form of admiration, right? Well, Reagan’s Heroes is a unique tribute to Ronald Reagan that will feature “in character” debates and live historical performances from impersonators imitating the four former presidents most admired by Ronald Reagan. The presidents represented will be Thomas Jefferson, Calvin Coolidge, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy and of course Ronald Reagan himself.
