Guys Read…with Griff!

This month many locations will celebrate boys love of reading! How? By promoting guys read and having a good time with Griff from the Grand Rapids Giffins, of course! Friendly librarians read books while Griff acted out the story. Afterward, kids were able to do various activities like a relay race, balloon baseball, and marshmallow sculptures. Griff even took the time to take pictures with the kids and autograph them! If you haven’t been able to join in the fun, Griff’s next stop will be at the Van Belkum Branch on Saturday, February 20th beginning at 2:00 and then he’s off to the West Leonard Branch on Saturday, February 27th beginning at 2:oo. And don’t forget about our Griffins circulating memberships. All GRPL locations have sets of tickets  available to check out on your Grand Rapids Public Library card!
