Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival starts tomorrow!

The 35th Annual Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival begins tomorrow, September 7, at the Calder Plaza. Come on down and enjoy fabulous food and great entertainment. (Library fans might already be familiar with the very talented band Cabildo. They have performed at a number of library functions.)

National Hispanic Heritage Month officially begins on September 15 and ends on October 15. Fiesta Mexicana will be held from September 14 through 16, also at the Calder. And, you can head out to Holland throughout September and October for Tulipanes, the Latino Art and Film Festival.

Our Hispanic culture in West Michigan gives us much to celebrate and we are all richer for it.
