Designed for those already familiar with the basics of word processing, this class covers more advanced formatting topics such as headers and footers, columns, and tables, along with a basic overview of spreadsheets.

Designed for those who already have a working knowledge of computers and some experience with using the mouse, this class covers the basics of internet security. Topics include protecting your computer against malware and virus attacks, configuring your computer security and firewall settings, and protecting your personal information online.  After taking this class, you’ll have a basic understanding of the importance of internet security.

Designed for those who already have a working knowledge of computers and some experience with using the mouse, this class covers the basics of the Internet and will give participants a better understanding of the technology that is reshaping our world and our community. After taking this class, you’ll feel more comfortable taking advantage of resources on the Internet.

Come into the Computer Lab and practice basic computer skills and get basic computer help with word processing, spreadsheets, Email, Internet, Library databases, social networking sites, etc.

Designed for those who have some experience with using the mouse, this class covers the basics of using a word processing program similar to Microsoft Word or WordPerfect. You’ll learn such fundamentals as simple document formatting, saving, and printing.  This class is for true beginners to word processing.
