Let’s Play! is a five week workshop for children 0-5 and their parents or caregivers. Let’s Play! teaches the benefits of interactive play. Each week an early childhood specialist will be available to answer questions parents may have about their child’s development. Families must attend all five sessions. Early Childhood Essentials Class: Make Time for Math

Math activities are fun and help children learn about their world. In this class we’ll review important benchmarks children are now expected to know before entering kindergarten and math activities that support them. Please bring a paper grocery bag for a “make and take” math activity, and a children’s math subject storybook either from your personal collection or the library.

Whether bullying happens face-to-face or virtually, bullying behaviors most often involve a larger group of bystanders. An important aspect of creating positive change involves helping kids and adults move from being passive bystanders to being powerful allies. The purpose of the workshop is to identify and practice skills about being an ally to people who are bullied and identify ways to help those who are bullying others.
