In partnership with the YMCA, the library is pleased to offer Cooking Matters for Seniors, a six-week nutritional education program that fights hunger by teaching people how to make healthy food choices on a budget. Participants will learn how to select nutritious and low-cost ingredients and prepare them in ways that provide the best possible nourishment to their families. Lessenberry co-authored the Michigan Notable book, The People’s Lawyer: The Life and Times of Frank J. Kelley, the Nation’s Longest-Serving Attorney General, with Kelley.
