Join us to learn how the library can help you research the history of your home! Library staff will provide a tour of the Grand Rapids History and Special Collections Department emphasizing materials and guides useful for researching Grand Rapids buildings. Following the tour, staff will give brief presentations showcasing a residential and a commercial building, using materials from our collection. In the afternoon, the Vander Veen Center for the Book will be available for participants to use as a home base while conducting personal research and get assistance from library staff. Registration required: www.grpl.org/register.
