Yankee Clipper Branch
Tuesday, April 22
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Nobody ever said taking care of kids AND the Earth was going to be easy. During Earth Week the Grand Rapids Public Library wants to help address a few specific challenges:
- How can I keep from adding diapers to landfills by cloth diapering? (It’s easier than you think!)
- What can I do to keep my children’s food, home and world as free from chemicals and toxins as possible? (guess what, you’ve already got the tools!)
- How can I encourage my child’s creative play without plastics and electronics?
Presenter Rachel Zylstra, co-owner of Grand Rapids’ very own Hop Scotch Children’s Store will explain just how easy and inexpensive it is to care for your children in a way that not only protects them and the Earth, but sets a great example for the future. Join us at the Yankee Clipper Branch on Tuesday, April 22 at 6:00 pm.
