Do YOU need help with a school report?

Youth services library staff love to visit the local schools and tell students all about the wonderful free materials and programs available to them at the library. We often tell kids “Come to the library when you need homework help!” So it’s great when those curious minds actually DO come in and ask for assistance on school projects…

Ava is one of those curious minds. She is a kindergarten student at New Branches Elementary School and recently came in looking for more information on what an “Outdoor Education Specialist” does for their job. Ava and her Dad were almost ready to edit and finish the video they were making together. We were so excited to help her, but also to be a library star in the final production of her school project.  You can view “The Educator” on YouTube — nice job Ava (and Dad too)! We are so glad you came to the library with your question.
