Dig into the ROCKgarden Party

Charlie Kert and Little Fingers Music present ROCKgarden Party, an interactive musical which is touring in Ontario and Michigan.   SkaterDude, a city boy, gets lost on his way to a ROCK concert and stumbles upon a ROCK garden in a forgotten forest.  SkaterDude doesn’t think much of the garden at first.  It’s boring and there’s no concrete for skateboarding.  Can Jack-in-the-Green and Earth Angel work together to convince him to appreciate and respect all the riches and beauty the garden has to offer?

Working together, they enlist the Forest Pixies (the children in the audience) and Garden Groms (the adults in the audience) to bring the rain to help the garden continue to flourish.  With everyone working together, they have their ROCKgarden celebration!

When Charlie Kert performs he never fails to get children and adults engaged in fun, interactive music-making, whether through singing, dancing, or playing percussion.  The songs in ROCKgarden Party address the environment, animals, multiculturalism, nutrition and fitness.

Please join us at these performances: Tuesday, July 9 at 10:30 am at Main Library; Tuesday, July 9 at 2:00 pm at West Leonard Branch.  Wednesday, July 10 at 10:30 am at Seymour Branch; Wednesday, July 10 at 3:00 pm at Yankee Clipper Branch; Wednesday, July 10 at 6:30 pm at Main Library.
