Cheeseburger Paradise

Oh, cheeseburger, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways on Saturday, September 18 – National Cheeseburger Day!  Grill one, build one, order one, or sing about one – or sing while you build one. As part of a group in Grand Rapids dedicated to seeking out the best burgers the city has to offer, I can personally tell you the possibilities for a day of gastric festivity are numerous. Happy eating!

Station Burger from Wealthy Street Station (corner of Wealthy & Fuller)! Hmmm, fried jalapenos and a pretzel bun.

That's one of my son's favorites (because of the bun). Broadway Bar is, according to what I hear, one of the best.

Don't forget the Choo-Choo Grill, which claims to have the "best burgers in the Western Hemisphere."

Just heard that the Cottage Bar was awarded "the best burger in Michigan" for their Cottage burger. And if you're in the mood for a drive, you have to check out the olive burger at the Wayland Hotel in Wayland.
