Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore by Dianne Carroll Burdick
This Thurs, Sept 3rd at 6:00pm the WGVU-TV program “Community Connection” will feature the four local photographers whose photos of Michigan’s National Parks are currently on exhibit on the fourth floor of the Grand Rapids Public Library. As part of the promotion for the new Ken Burns’ documentary, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, WGVU-TV will feature the four local photographers, their work and their interest in Michigan’s National Parks. I’ve very pleased to be part of this wonderful project, and invite everyone to watch this evening’s program on PBS.
As a side note – both myself and Dianne Carroll Burdick are involved in the ArtPrize competition. Since the GRPL is a registration site, I would encourage everyone to come down to see the our Parks exhibit, and get yourself registered for ArtPrize voting at the same time!
