Caregiver Resource Information Series
Are you a caregiver or do you know someone who is a caregiver? If so, you know how hard it is to find balance within your life. There are many types of caregivers so, while you may not consider yourself a caregiver, chances are good that you do some caregiving.
The Grand Rapids Public Library is partnering with the Caregiver Resource Network to offer a free bimonthly information series on various caregiving issues. These will be held on the second Tuesday of every other month, starting this month, from 4:30 to 5:30, at the Main Grand Rapids Public Library.
On Tuesday, May 12, Cyndy Viars from Disability Advocates of Kent County will present “An Overview of Long Term Care” which is something not just caregivers have to think about. We hope to see you there if this is a topic of interest to you. You might find the article “Long Term Care Planning Tips” a helpful introduction on this issue.
