Award-winning journalist at Taste of Soul Sunday

Rochelle Riley, an award-winning journalist, will share her thoughts on race relations and on education at Taste of Soul Sunday on February 16, 2014.  In her busy life of writing, speaking, and radio and television appearances across the country, Ms. Riley still manages to keep a close eye on current events and give insightful opinions on many social, political and cultural issues.  Her most recent columns in the Detroit Free Press featured Pope Francis, the new coach of the Lions Jim Caldwell, and GM’s new CEO, Mary Barra.

You’ll have two opportunities to hear her talk, “A Foot in Each World,” on Sunday, February 16 at the Main Library.  The talk will be held on the Lower Level in the Quiet Study Room at 1:30 p.m. and again at 3:00 p.m.
