Laptop to Printer Connections
The following illustrates the steps involved in adding a printer share in Windows XP.
After selecting "Add Printer" from Printers and Faxes:
You will adding a network printer.
You can connect to the printer directly by entering the server and printer name as noted in the table on the previous page.
The print driver will not be automatically installed. Select Yes, to continue.
You must now select a driver to use.
The HP Color LaserJet PS will work well.
The driver installation will finish and you should be ready to print.
