A Visit from Mrs. Claus and Paper Reindeer Craft

Mrs. Claus visited Ottawa Hills library last night, and after some stories and decorating some cookies, we also made paper bag reindeer.

I always love it when Mrs. Claus visits, because not only is she a wonderful person and great to talk to, but she brings us treats every year. The kids love her and really get into her stories about Santa and the Reindeer. Her magic is so incredible that the children didn’t even make a huge mess when they decorated the cookies. It’s always fun when Mrs. Claus comes to visit.

This is the paper bag reindeer puppet created as suggested.

And finally, I thought I’d post a collage of the kid’s craft we worked on. I think the art that children create is best when they don’t feel the need to “color inside the lines.” This is why I love having craft time for kids!

Wonderful creativity!
